: If I understand your post correctly, you are wanting separate wires rather than ribbon cable.
: I used 22guage wire from Happ Controls and Molex connectors so I didn't have to do any soldering.
: Molex makes connectors that will plug into the ke72 headers (they make several different pin number connectors so you have some options here- 20 pin connectors is the way I went and it took 4 of course). Your wire simply crimps into these connectors. At the other end of the wire harness is another type of female molex connector (which you can get from Happ). Finally a male molex connector to plug into that and more wire ending in a female quick disconnect that plugs onto the microswitches on my controls. The Molex connectors from Happ allow me to disconnect and re-connect different controls quickly.

: : This is my first project. I just purchased the KE72T and am having trouble finding any information on what wire I should use to hookup the card to each button and joystick connection. Hagstrom said that they heard people use IDE cable. I was looking for something like CD-ROM audio cable. Two connection per wire, but Hagstrom mentioned that the size was a few millimeters off to fit right.

: : I just wanted to get some options as to what wire everyone else is using and where they got it. I would like to go with no soldering if possible. Makes life a lot easier when replacing parts.
