It's probably the person working it. No, Just Kidding! I hooked up my pc to an arcade monitor and am using arcadeOS. When I start many games the screen is rolling vertically. I exit out and then go to the config game menu and change the resolution up one. I then restart, and if it doesn't work I repeat. So far I've been able to fix this vertical roll problem every time. Usually several modes work and the best one is the one who's ratio is closest to what the game is, and it doesn't cut the game off as much, if any. Your problem sounds a little different but if you haven't tried changing the resolutions, try it. It may be just in how mame is handling your monitor as well. To test this, download the app files for consoles and try running nesticle on your monitor. Mine works fine and since all games have the same resolutions and since nes was meant for a tv type monitor then there is no problems. If you have no problems then it is going to be a mame problem, and if not then consider other alternatives, possibly the fact that your monitor just doesn't work with arcadeos. That is all I can suggest. I hope that helps a little.
