I honestly think no. If you do try it, do it on a case-by-case basis, and not try to mass produce them. I once tryed to offer kits, not like yours, but including the joysticks, buttons, interface, and instructions on how to interface them and drill the holes (nearly the complete opposite of yours)... I got decent responce from the message board, it seemed a good idea, but no one bought any. My harddrive crashed wiping out the layouts (you could just lay them down and drill), and the rest is history. I never made a single kit, and no money arrived.
