Well, with 2,000+ games, mapping controls for all of them is not a simple task (for those of you downloading ALL the ROMs). Also the CP's are interchangeable.... Unscrew the to CPs with the wingnuts, unplug the card from the USB hub and insert another CP and plug into HUB. If you were to buy multiple UGCI boards.

Yes, I could have made it simpler, but I realized that spinner games and 4-way-control games needed special attention and designated them to their own area of the table. The steering whell was an afterthought and worked out particularly well. Just plugged that into the USB hub and voila. Just rotated the driving games 90°. Defender, Stargate, Asteroids also had unique button Control Panel schematics, that I invoked by mapping buttons across joystick buttons of the same CP.

Defender layout: Leftmost joystick used as up/down, the button closest to that JS mapped as reverse button (tap with thumb), blue button underneath mapped as hyperspace, button 1 from the second joystick mapped as thrust, button 2 mapped as fire, and button 3 mapped as Smart Bomb. 3 buttons from JS 1 and 3 buttons from JS 2 used to replicate the original Defender CP.
