connect jamma board to vga or tv??

Is this possible? I built a cabinet for mame games with a 21" vga monitor in it. Is it possible to connect a jamma board to the monitor without too much hardware? I know the h-sync is different, but is there a way?
Also, is there an easy way to hook up a jamma board to a standard tv? If so I could just buy a tv tuner card and get the signal to my monitor that way.
