Makes sense yes. I wish I could locate a 720 cabinet to take a good look at the original control. In the mean time I guess I just have to get my project together so I can start experimenting with my spinner idea.

: It sounds like a great idea, but I wonder if it will work with a mouse spinner. It might not be easy to align the direction of the stick with the skater. I don't know how the 720 game controller worked, but I'm guessing it used a potentiometer and could give an absolute position. The mouse I believe would only give you a relative position. Like, say you start 720, and the skater is pointing UP. You might have to hold the spinner stick UP before the game starts for it to line up right. Also, one revolution of the spinner stick might not equal one revolution of the skater, which seems to be the case from the Arkanoid spinner posts from earlier. Thus, if the mouse and 720 controls are not 'equal' in this way, you might line up the spinner stick right at first, but turning the stick 180 degrees might not turn the skater DOWN all the way, or might rotate him too much.

: does that make sense?
