Well, how many arcade games do you actually own that give you the right to have the roms on your hard drive?... all 2100. Probably not. As this gives companies perfect ammunition of how they are being ripped off, I just don't think promoting piracy is helping us any. I personally don't care how many roms you download and click "Yes I have legal right to download this here rom" when you really don't. That's nearly impossible to police. But when they are all given on cd-rom, more sites will be shut down. Does anyone remember what happened to Dave's? Jeesh. Because there are 2 sites left you don't think there's any reason to worry?
You better sit and study real hard for your spelling exam tomorrow because the real world is more complicated than what you think it is. The thing being ruined is the distribution of ROMs. Did you think they were public domain?
