Not being much of an artist, this is going to be a first for me. I downloaded a program called Neopaint, with the intent of creating a Marquee, like I've seen on other's cabs.. Well, I find I'm running into a problem. I've figured out how to take sections of a screenshot ( for the characters themselves )
What I can't figure out, is how people managed to cut around them?
One picture, for example, that I saw has a green MAME logo. Placed around the logo various arcade figures.. Sometimes, hanging off of the peaks of the MAME lettering..
What I'm not sure how to do.. heck, not even sure how to ask..
When I cut out a character.. it's in a box.. not the actual character outlines.. So, when I place it over my mame logo, I get the character, a big black box, and a partially.. blocked out Mame logo.
HOW do I make it so ALL I have is the figure??? That way, I can for example, take a monster from Rampage and have him look like he is hanging off the side of the MAME logo without having a black box between him and it???
Anyone understand what I'm trying to say??
