Super Joysticks, question

I changed out the ultimate joys for Supers in my sidewinder hacks to be able to switch to 4-way.

Let me tell you that I love the feel of these sticks. Much better than the ultimates. They are great in 4 and 8 way.

Problem! Is there an easier way to get that freakin' E-washer off? or does somebody use something else in it's place that is easier to get on and off?
