I tried to test the current coming out of
the various outs on the transformer.
The first one says it should be 14.5, but I never got a steady 14.5 reading (set the meter to V AC one probe on the zero on the backside of the transformer, and the other probe on the various leads). The readings I got moved all around and peaked at 14.5 occasionally. I tried this for the other leads and they moved around, but never settled on a steady reading. Before this, I heard a weird hissing and looked and saw liquid coming out of the blue capacitor I replaced on the power supply board. Could this indeed be a bad transformer that fried the capacitor and who knows what else?
