Hmm, well it is clear, but not like plexiglass.
It is real thin (bendable) looks like it would be fairly easy to cut through. It would mainly be to protect artwork underneath from small spills etc.

: If you mean the 10 mil plastic that they use for overlays - you can get it from Happs. It comes in a variety of colors. I think it is listed on their site under the VENDING section.
