Sorry to bother you, but I read your response to my question about the flickering Donkey Kong monitor. Please bear with me as my wiring knowledge is minimal.

Your second comment makes alot of sense to me. Upon further inspection, I realized that the longer the machine is turned on the less frequent the flicker seem to occur. Eventually they will only occur in about 20-25 second intervals. Also, every time the monitor flickered, I could hear a cracking sound. When I looked in the back while it was happening, I can see a tiny spark. Let me try to describe the location. If you are looking into the back of the machine at the backside of the monitor, there is a metal box with holes in it on the right side at monitor level (not on the floor). Is this some sort of power supply? If I look through the holes, that is where the tiny spark happens.

Does that sound like incorrect input voltage? If so, I know someone who may be able to help me check the input voltage.

Thanks for any help,

Chuck
