: I don't think the Belkin mouse would work any better. The Twisty plans call for breaking off every other tab on the wheel, effectively cutting the spin rate in half. That would lower the sensitivity on fine movements, though.
I think an arcade trackwheel has less spokes... I'll have to count them later.
