I think 30fps would be expected on your system, a P2-450 with 16bit colour and 16bit stereo sound at 44khz can get 53fps (full speed) with about 20% to spare,this is using an ATI Rage128.
Without Fastvid the framerate isn't so good, I hope everyone on here that is using a P2/P3 is using that DOS Utility Fastvid, I get approx 50% speed increase with DOS video read and writes!
