: : I also own the GS and used the mouse emulation with very poor results. It is not accurate at all. Did you do anything special to make your GS work well w/the drivers?

: Well, there are a few things to try. First, if you can't shoot all the way to the edge of the screen, try changing the high/low setting in the properties box. Also, you can adjust the slider on the VGA pass-thru which controls the brightness of the screen flash when you shoot the gun. And lastly, there is a 3-way switch on the back at the base that you can try changing. I keep mine on the middle setting and I have my screen flash set in the middle position as well. Keep in mind that the accuracy of the gun using the legacy driver is nowhere near as good as when using the natvie driver. I've gotten the best results with Virtua Squad 2 (PC version of Virtua Cop II).
: Most importantly though, remember to calibrate the gun by shooting the center of the screen and then moving the mouse cursor to the center. And remember that anytime you move the mouse, or the program moves the cursor position automatically, you have to recalibrate it. It's a pain, but what do you expect for an unsupported driver? That's why I'm hoping that Bleem! will eventually support the GS in native mode. Then you have incredible accuracy!

: Hope this helps,
: Dan

: P.S. Regarding the MAME games, I haven't had much luck with these. The accuracy is very poor. The only thing I can think of is that you have to calibrate the gun in the resolution that the game is in. So, try fixing the resolution (instead of using auto) of the game you want to play and see if it works for you.
