Here's a wierd one. Since the horizontal sync is the problem, I've been messing with the horizontal sync (makes sense). However, when I started to mess with the vertical sync and push it to far one way, the screen would scroll HORIZONTALLY? That doesn't seem normal.
Chnging the vertical sync helped a little, but still didn't solve the problem. I'm beginning to wonder if some pice of hardware is defective. Bummer.
