: The button depresses and then sticks, releasing only when it is "jiggled". Pain in the neck

: The unit was extremely dusty when I purchased it. It is impossible to tell if the dust has gotten between the button and the housing or if the hole is a little small or whatever.

: It is possible that something was spilled, but there is no evidence of that at all.

: I was wondering if there is a trick, like a drop or two of mineral oil (or something).

: Does anyone know the warranty policy for these things? If I open it up I am guessing that the problem will become more clear.

Ok, try (It works for me) using a child's wet wipe. Wipe the button and ket the soap foam a bit. Tap the button until it loosens.

(My son spills many a drop of waffle syrup on a couple of my buttons).

You are a new Dad, so I know this won't be hard to find .
