Well guys, I have the bug again and I need some advice. Several months ago, I somewhat finished my huge cabinet project called Arca Immensus. It was a weird conversion of a huge casino blackjack machine that I threw a 29" princeton svga monitor into and made a pretty cool control panel backed up by a ke24 encoder. There are tons of other things I did but I will spare you the details.

Here is my new potential project....

The "Minicade". I am getting a new laptop for work that has some pretty nice features. I was thinking that I could make a small custom enclosure for it with a nice control panel on front. Suddenly I have a portable emulation machine that I dont even need power for!!! I would get some small battery amplified speakers to boost the sound a little and all sorts of other things.

What do you guys think??? Do you think the LCD display will look crummy behind plexiglass?? Any comments are appreciated. Has anybody done something like this??
