If video editing quality is important then forget about ATI and go for a Matrox.
Either the G400 + Rainbow Runner (expensive) or the Marvel G400. I've tried both and
there's NO WAY I's ever go back to ATI. Matrox's hard ware compression KICKS ASS!
Also a bit more HD space would be better. Or a 2nd HD.
