First off, The xterminator will not work with dos mame. If you are using dos mame you need the emu+ version. I've heard that the mame team plans to support it at some point. With emu+ you program it when you enter A game and hit tab, keys all are keys game. As far as any problems with it Ive had 0! Use it with ultrahle, neoragex, Bleem, Some windows games. I have never had any problems programing it. Under keyset properties do you have it set to 1 player main. Do you have it set as A proporttional joystick. Just last night I set it up with emu+ and did not need to use the keyset manager at all. Just programmed it in the game. Mine is now in peaces (read post below). I'm thinking of chaining 2 for my cabinet. I have never chained them before (only have 1). If you need more info. on getting it working I can check my setting further. As far as working as A hack. I'm not sure but it is a nice pad with A nice software. If the chaining thing works well. I think it would be A great interface. The board also looks very easy to solder to.........
