How do I test my new comp?

I got myself a new comp and I wanted to test it's true capability (in gaming sense). It's Athlon and I'm wondering if I've made a huuge mistake on buying an Athlon or not. If anyone can help me, please do.
I got a:
Athlon 600
MSI 6195 Motherboard
Maxtor 30 gig UDMA 66 cuz of games and MP3's>
Voodoo3 3500
Creative Ensoniq AudioPCI

If anyone have a program to test my new comp. please help me out.
