: I made some gret progress on my project this weekend but I ran into one problem. The ArcadeOS front end screen is unreadable on the monitor and certain games seem to have the same problem, it's like the screen is scrolling horizontally very fast. I don't think it's a problem with the hookup because some games are fine, all the pacmans, P.O.W., and others. Mr. Do works when it is run horizontally, (my cabinet is vertical) but it doesn't work vertically. Other games that are horizontal work fine vertically though. I am running a P200 with an ATI Expert'98 video card. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I sounds like you just need to adjust the vertical hold on the back of the monitor. or horizontal hold. I had that problem too. you should be able to run arcadeOS vertically by hitting the spacebar and telling it in the config to run vertically. Some monitors (like mine which is setup horizontally) have problems going from horiz. to the 288x240 rez in horiz mode. It need to have the v-hold adjusted. So ya gotta find a happy medium with the v-hold where it works for all res.
I can't seem to get it to work with out adjusting the vhold for a few games... so I am going to rig the monitor to rotate so that won't be a problem.

Hope that helps.
