One recommendation that I can make (if you can afford it) is to get 256MB of RAM insted of 128MB. RAM prices are pretty cheap these days, and you'll be really happy with it the first time you are trying to edit a large image or work with an entire song in wave format. Somthing else that would speed up your machine considerably is to go with an all-SCSI disk subsystem. Yes, I know it costs more (2x IDE solutions) but because you can write to more than one device per channel at a time (and other nice things about SCSI) it makes the machine considerably faster. It might be good for you to go with a slower Pentium III (500 - 600) and a BX chipset but bump the RAM up and maybe go all SCSI. The storage subsystem in your PC is one of it's greatest bottlenecks. Also, if you are going to be playing games (new, 3D games, not MAME or other emus), the NVidia cards are probebly one of your best bets. ATI is okay, but nothing special at all when it comes to 3D stuff.
