Well, speaking from my computer tech experience, I would suggest against the Maxtor. I used to be a big maxtor fan until I saw a few too many with a bunch of bad sectors. I just bought a IBM Deskstar 20 gig a few months ago. It is fast and quiet, and IBM reliability is very good. I suggest spending the extra $40 or so for a better, faster, hard drive.
