Please verify this with Hagstrom, but...

I think you could hook the trackball and spinner both to your KE-72 at the same time. It would require you to splice a cable though. But again please check with Hagstrom.

: I'm currently building my control panel that will have a Happ trackball and Fultra Spinner hooked up to the KE72-T running on a Win98 machine. I want the option to run MAME32. Worse comes to worse, I will hook up the trackball to my PS/2 port and my mouse which is currently on the PS/2 port to the serial port.

: I would rather hook the trackball and mouse up to the PS/2 port so that my 2 serial ports are free for my digital camera and my Pronto LCD remote control. The digital camera and Pronto use different cables so I can't use a common cable on one serial port.

: I've heard about a device from PI Engineering called Y-mouse that is basically an A/B switch for PS/2 style mice. I can do this if necessary but don't really feel like spending $50 for this convenience.

: Could I buy a simple PS/2 adapter cable for $3 instead? I don't need hot swapping and don't intend to use both devices at the same time. I haven't checked locally for such a simple cable but have seen one for $2.66 at www.cyberguys.com The catalog number is 1212440 if anyone is interested. Is this too good to be true?

: On another note, can the Happ trackball/KE72-T combo be used on a serial port instead of the PS/2 port? If so, does anyone know where to buy a PS/2 to serial port adapter? If I could do this, I could buy a serial port switcher to switch the trackball/digital camera/Pronto and have a free serial port for future use.
