I agree completely, I learned also how to compile from mame.net but its not as hard as you think all files needed are on that page and mickey mouse instructions. go on have a go then when 0.37 is out you wont have to ask for it :))

: I had a blast building my cabinet. Yes, I could have just paid someone to do it for me but that would have taken all the fun out of it. The same goes for the mame.exe. I wanted to try to compile the thing myself and I am kind of proud that I was able to do it. Yes, I had to cheat and use the www.mame.net instructions (they tell you step by step how to do it) but I am really happy that I can do it now. I now no longer have to wait, beg, etc for new compiled releases and getting rid of the OK screens is not the only cool thing you can do in there. Try it - it is not as hard as you think it is. I will probably post some instructions in a little more detail as well as some batch files to help out when I get my website finished.
: BTW, it looks really lousy right now (tons and tons of mistakes and unfinished pages) but you can see it at www.mymiata.com/mame
