The interface has 3 modes (via a selector switch):
1. PC Keyboard to DC Keyboard
2. PC Keyboard to DC Controller (this is how I am using it.)
3. PSX Controlled to DC Controller.
If you want a two, three or four player setup, then you have to buy additional interfaces. The DC has 4 controller inputs, each one would require an interface.
What I found initially from the website I bought it from was the PC Keyboard to DC Keyboard, but after receiving the interface, I was pleasantly surprised to see a selector switch to allow the PC Keyboard to be used as a DC Controller!!

: From the description, it looks as though this only lets you use a PC Keyboard to replace the DC *keyboard*, not the controller. If not, I stand corrected. Even so, it only goes into one controller port. That means you can only design a one-player control scheme. Could you give us some more information on how you're using it? Pictures?

: : Anyone looking to hack a DC controller should not look any further than the "Total Control 2" interface for the DC. It has a PC keyboard interface with a switch to convert the keyboard inputs to DC controller inputs. I am currently using a home-built arcade controller with the DC using this interface.

: : Any questions, I can email photos of mine working, and as a side benefit, you can use PSX controls with this interface -linking to the DC.
