I personally don't think it is adequate. I have mine running at 640x480. Non-emu games, for the most part run great. Unfortunatly, other things such as looking at the desktop, surfing the net, or reading text, are not as nice and can be downright painfull to look at. Mine looks very wavy and can make you nausious looking at it. I find this very odd considering that MAME is insanly crisp on the U3100. Of course the only adjustments I have done to it were on the "remote board." Maybe you can muck around on the inside and fix it, or maybe there is some software out there that can help correct it. If you find out, let me know, I would be very interested.

: Does anybody find the Wells Gardner u3100 monitor "adequate" for occasional non-MAME uses such as web browsing, non-emu games (Quake 3), minor word-processing/messageboard posting?

: If so, at 640x480 or 800x600?

: I'm thinking about getting one for a MAME cab and am curious if it will be "arcade-only". Thanks.
