Most pads have screw holes, just mount it the side of your box with those. Most people use particle board for their box (Arcade games are made out of particle board as well).

: First off I would like to say hi, this is my first post on this board. Second, I have decided to make an arcade stick for my Dreamcast. Ever sense I bought my Dreamcast I have been really into fighting games (Soul Calibur, Street Fighter 3: W Impact, Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2, DOA 2, etc), but what do you know, there is not one single decent arcade stick out there. Well, a couple of days ago I was at the arcade playing Street Fighter 3 and me and some guy got to talking about arcade sticks. I mentioned that there were no good arcade sticks for Dreamcast and then he told me that he made his own. He told me all about Happ and what kind of buttons and stick to get. The design for my stick is going to be just a plain Street Fighter style (two rows of three buttons) arcade stick. I do have some questions though. First, I am going to be hooking everthing up to a cheap third party Dreamcast control and I was wondering what I would use to keep the circuit board from the controller just being loose inside my arcade stick box? That brings me to my next question, what is the best thing to make the box out of. I would like to use the best material for the cheapest cost. Those are the two questions that come to mind at the time, but I'm sure I'll think of so more before I actually start my project. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.
