Did you unzip MAME with all the directories intact (" -d option w/pkunzip")?

When you installed MAME, did you unzip it with all the directories? Mame.cfg is in the same directory as mame.exe so it shouldn't matter, but I noticed that it did when I tried to extract just the .exe file. Try unzipping the latest mame.zip with the "keep directory" option on. If that still doesn't work...

If you're only changing that one switch, you could use that keyboard remapper program by ZD. It's on the downloads page here at BYOAC. Actually, I guess you could use this program no matter how many buttons you want to change.

: When I remap keys in MAME under Input(general)its not keeping the keys I've mapped. I'm remapping the credit key back to 3 so I don't have to wire it dif in my keyboard hack. Is there anyway to make this stick?

: Thanks in advance... :)
