Second Thoughts...Arcade monitor or not??

I purchased an arcade monitor (as well as a cap kit, just in case) but have not put it in my machine yet.

I realized that I think my 17 inch monitor looks pretty damn good. I never have any problems with drivers, different games, etc. I am running pure dos and the arcadeos frontend and am extremely happy.

I am surprized at how many complaints I hear about the monitors and how many problems people have with them.

Here is my question, do you think I should have upgraded my cpu/motherboard instead of buying the monitor (I only have a p120 running the show). The machine fast enough for most games. I am just wondering, has anyone else changed to a monitor and then thought, "hey, what is the big deal?"
