I have my marquees printed on a backlit sign material. It is specifically designed for this type of work. There is a place here in Columbus Ohio that does it - I'm sure you can find one in your area.

Call some printing shops and tell them what you are doing. See if they have an Encad Novajet. It is basically a inkjet that is 36-48" wide and prints on rolls of paper. There are many types of paper available including decal paper and backlit sign material.

Hope this helps.

: Hmmmm I use to work for a school district and they used to order ROLLS. All you do is unroll what you need and go from there. Perhaps call around to office supply stores and see what they have to offer.

: : I have an awesome XEROX color laserjet printer at work (about a $5000 machine)that I printed my last marquee on. I had to print on three sheets of overhead transparency and then paste them together. I am assuiming that I could fit a whole sheet in the machine. Anyone have an idea of where to find an oversized piece of acetate or overhead transparency to print on?
: : Thanks
