Everything you mentioned is possible, but complicated to do. I take it you mean you want the cabinet control panel to also control the consoles as well as the PC. Hacking console pads to the panel is not hard at all, but implementing a switching mechanism to easily change between systems is (to me) the tricky part. I don't think HanaHo will make such a unit (u can ask tho - btw, Richard WILL reply to ur email but it takes a few days usually - give him time), tho they're surely capable of making *anything* in that monster arcade factory of theirs. I know Andy Desak can do that sort of thing as I've talked about it with him in the past. But I'm sure he'll want a decent amount of extra cash to implement it. Beyond Arcade Solutions and HanaHo (A2K seem to be on hold right now) I know of no other reliable sources for emu cabinets. And HanaHo is the only bigtime professional company on the planet that I know of that's catering to emu hobbyists. Anyway, Capcom & Sega trust HanaHo so you know their trustworthy. :)

Also, keep in mind that you can use VGS (see my post below) instead of a PSX and get great results w/o any hardware fuss. Emulate baby!

Good luck & have a good safe trip.

: Wow!!!

: I want to thank everyone (Ray, Prophet, dcpmark, Ray, Chad, JP4, Chris, and especially Andy Desak no longer supplier to Arcade 2000 and Jeff of A2K) for so quickly sending me so much info! Usually when I post to a message board the response isn't nearly this fast or well informed. PLEASE! If you have a success story or horror story (and are not listed in REVIEWS, ALTERNATIVES, or LINKS to the left), keep it up!

: I did want to add one extra wrinkle to the issue of buying a cabinet. Besides running MAME or PC games, I have a bunch of consoles and in particular a Playstation. I want to get a cabinet that can support PC AND at least Playstation (and possibly a couple other consoles--I know big dream!) I may even want to network the cabinet with another PC or Playstation via a combat cable.

: Furthermore I am a multiplayer game player, networking the PC or hooking it up to the internet isn't a biggie, but if I do manage to get a cabinet that is PC and Playstation I'm trying to figure out where and how to put an extra set of Playstation controls (and a light gun, and a driving module, ....)

: I'd love to hear feedback on whether purchasing such a beast, purchasing and rewiring/customizing, or building from scratch is preferable.

: I have a business trip that may make checking the board a bit difficult, but I will read and respond to all posts ASAP.

: Thank you!

: Lee
