I just had a monitor die while switching from ArcadeOS to Windows. Anyone else have that happen?
I have a MAME cabinet set up in which the computer serves double duty. I'm thinking that the monitor that died was actually pushing the frequency of the other monitor. The monitor in question is a Viewsonic GS771. I would have thought that the circuitry would protect against such an event, but sadly, no. It now will display a scrunched up image in the top half of the screen after powering on for a few moments, then go dead.
