I've found the ATI Rage II+ to be excellent for a MAME cabinet. Search for one on eBay. Sometimes you'll see them listed as a "Rage II+DVD". I got mine for $15. So far it was the best $15 I've spent on this project. I just looked on eBay and saw some of them listed for $5-$20.
