Use an RGB Monitor For Mini-Arcade cab?

Is it possible to use a RGB monitor for an arcade cabinet. Have an old APPLE 2GS RGB Monitor. I have the pin out for it. Just wondering if would be possible to put a coverter cable together. VGA/RBG cable. I have all the cables and stuff to make it. Just wondering if anyone has used a rgb monitor in mame cab, at least a table top one is I have in mind. thanks for any help
