I e-mailed Hanaho about this 2 days ago, but haven't gotten a reply yet, and having a HotRod SE sitting here and not being able to use it is driving me nuts!
When I press right on Player 1's joystick and let go, MAME acts as if I'm holding it down. That is, my character continues to move right and I can't move left. It continues even if I press F3 to reset. And, it doesn't start until I press right on the joystick. This also happens in KGen, and even the HotRod test program on the CD. It does _not_ happen testing it out in a DOS prompt or notepad.
Does anyone here have an idea on how to fix this? Or, should I call up PCIdea and exchange it?
BTW, if anyone is in the market for a HotRod, I got mine from ebay, PCIdea has put 4 more up there with a reserve of $150 which is actually a pretty good discount (I even saved on shipping by picking it up in their Brea, California location since I live nearby). Though, the auction is ending pretty soon so check it out (search for "hotrod joystick")
