: Hey everyone. I've asked this before but I don't think I ever got an answer. My question is what kind of wire should I use to wire up my encoder to my fingerboard? Basically, what gauge (or awg whatever that means)? Someone said they used a SCSI ribbon cable for theirs which sounded like a good idea. What do you all think?

I have seen alot of examples of poeple using SCSI to wires their controls. I and many other poeple used 22 AWG wire to make of arcade cabs. Haven't had one button fail so far. Everything works great. You get get a spool of 22 AWG (90 ft.) at Radio Shack for like $4.00 Good luck and Game On!
