: Well my advice to you is too steer clear of TV-out cards, I've never seen one that works in DOS, they always seem to support windows. More importantly the quality is appauling, if you run windows in 640x480 (the lowest res) on a TV screen, you'll find the text is virtually unreadable and you'll get a lot of flicker.

: To get the best picture quality you really ought to get an arcade monitor, near where I live they're sold for £40, which is pretty cheap.

: However it might still be possible to connect up your old TV without a TV-out card providing it has a scart connector. You'll need to make up a cable that connects the RGB pins of a computers 15-pin monitor plug to the RGB inputs of a scart cable. Then just use mame with the -monitor arcade switch.

: hope this helps!

Okay thanks for the info. I also have this 28" lying around that has a whole bunch of inputs, RCA, and some other ones I can't name. What does a scart connector look like? I have one connector that is labled RGB or something like that.
