: Mame32 doesn't require the profiler.
: my old setup i had win98se and the only thing i used a profiler for was the 'esc' key - to exit games with a button when i was finished.

: i now use win2k on my cabinet - BTW is works and plays WAY better than win98se - and mame32 and all works perfectly. there is no profiler [i believe] for win2k, so i still need a keyboard to 'esc' the game. anyideas?

I know it doesn't require it, but it is nice to be able to navigate with just the gamepad and not have to go to the keyboard. I can do everything that I want with ESC, Enter, TAB and direction arrows programmed with the profiler, but it makes mame skip. WHY??? :)
