Slightly off topic, I know, but for arcade controllers nonetheless.
I am looking a possibly making quite a few arcade controllers for PSX and rather than use a controller hack, I was wondering if anyone had looked at mapping out and building their own circuit to emulate the job of the controller's circuitboard???
I'd like to do it this way in an attempt to get around any legal hassles if I happen to start selling these things - I don't think many companies would appreciate me making a profit by on-selling their product, which I have modified, to then create my own product!
Unfortunately I don't have sufficient technical knowledge to achieve this, but I suspect there may be someone out there that does....
