: Didn't you guys here that Mame32 added support for Act-Labs PC light gun? Mame sees it as a directx device. I think Act-Labs wrote a mouse emulator for their gun as well...

: Oh yeah, just so you know, it was I who got the ball rolling and convinced Act Labs to support Mame! I'm so proud of myself.

: : I do know that the real arcade light guns will not work. I spoke to Les who works for Happs tech support. He explained that the light gun send out a series of pulses. Assuming the levels are compatible with the LPT port, a custom driver would have to be written to emulate the mouse from these pulses. As of yet, nobody is doing this.

: : If you know of a lightgun made for the PC, it might work. It would have to emulate a mouse. Are there lightguns made for the PC? Do they emulate the mouse?

: : : Hey everyone! More questions! I want to eventually set my cabinet up to play light gun games. These are my very favorite arcade games. Are there any emulators that support any light gun games. And if so, what games? My pc will be wired to my arcade monitor through pc2jamma. Would a pc lightgun game work even if I had it hooked up to an arcade monitor? If anyone knows anything at all about this let me know. Any web pages of people doing this? Thanks.
