perhaps this might help...

: It sounds like you just need to refocus the cathode stream, and then readjust color purity and convergence settings on the monitor. It involves loosening the yoke at the neck of the monitor. You'll notice that this yoke is held in place by some little rubber wedges. By loosening and repositioning the yoke, this problem is totally solvable. Remember to fully discharge the monitor, so that you don't get yourself all dead.

: Check out the link. I found it invaluable when I needed to resolve an issue much like this.

: : Hey everyone. I finally got my first cabinet. Got it for $100. As all of you are aware I've been trying to figure everything out on how to configure this puppy and I finally got one. Its an old missile command cabinet with original jamma intact. It been painted black and the control panel is a street fighter 2 one. The marquee that it uses is a mini-style one with speakers on each side. It is slanted down at about a 30 degree angle. There is no marquee currently on it. The 19" monitor has a good picture with some missile command burn in which isn't noticeable during play. One thing that is noticeable about it is at the top of the screen the monitor curls up and to the left. I'm sure you all have seen this happen before. It distorts the very top of the screen. Things on the screen are bigger on top then they are when they are on the bottom. I've fiddled with the settings on the back and it doesn't seem to help. I would think that this is not really damage to my monitor, just something that needs "tuned up". I've heard of cap kits before but don't know much about em. What should I do to fix this minor problem?
: : Thanks
