: Okay, so after wiring my controls to the jamma fingerboard, I need to get a kick harness to wire buttons 4,5,6 from each player to?

you need to get a 10 pin "stake" connector male, this will plug into your kick harness.

: Is this what is used for sf2 games?

yes

: Does this kick harness then plug into the jamma fingerboard?

No, it's completely separate. When you get your cab look on your SF board, there will be one large connector (usually blue or black) connected to the side, and a small connector (usually white) hooked to the top of the board. The large connector is Jamma, the small connector is the kick harness. (If there is more than one small, the bigger of the 2 will be the kick harness, the other for stereo audio)

:Where can I get one?

I think www.digikey.com has them, .105" is the size

: What is JST?

JST is position

:One last thing, is there any way that I'll be able to add an escape button?

No need for one, look on the IPac page, it has built in shift functions (for all emulators).

:I know I'd have room for one on the IPAC but how could I wire that to the fingerboard?

If you really want to have an esc, you're going to have to add a button and wire it sparately, or there is a "test" or "service" button on some cabs, and you can wire that through the finger board on pin 15 parts side (see: http://freespace.virgin.net/chad.gray/jamma_Info.htm ) for the pin out I'm refering to.
: I'm thinking this will be possible.
