the extra 3 buttons are handled by whats called a "kick" harness. Here's the pinout (10 pin stake connector):

JST
1 Ground
2 Ground
3 Player 1, Button 5
4 Player 1, Button 4
5 Player 1, Button 6
6 -
7 Player 2, Button 4
8 Player 2, Button 5
9 Player 2, Button 6
10 -

Hook the grounds to the encoder's ground, and each of the buttons to the inputs on the encoder, ignore the -'s as there is nothing connected to them. Wire the Jamma fingerboard, then wire up the stake pin connector.

: Hmmm, I only use 3 buttons so I never thought to
: much about this, Ill take a look around the net in a minute and see what I can find.

: Maybe someone else can lend a hand with this bit in the mean time,

: The question at hand is :

: The standard jamma connector Ive used only has inputs for up to 4 buttons per player that I can see, how do you connect up 6 buttons to it?, does anyone know?

: The I-PAC facilitates for 6 buttons its just how to wire these to the jamma connector.
