Using the I-PAC method will eliminate the need for windows, only thing I use it for now is for updating my roms.

I dont bother having the arcade machine turned on when I use windows, all I have is a share to drive c on the arcade pc, exit out of arcade os, turn of the arcade machine (not the pc), plug a normal keyboard into the pc and type win.

Then I update the roms from the other pc via the share, when I have finished updating I hit Alt-F4 - Enter then shut the pc down.
