There are Java irc clients, so no need for you to set up irc on your system, if/when we switch to irc, all you need to do is click the Chat Room link. However, there are DOS and Be irc clients and both OSes are lacking in Java support. I want to get in from my cab :)
: I don't have IRC and I don't see the point in getting it. However, there are better free chat programs out there that let you have more settings, like having people register a screen.
