I Used to run an irc chat from my webpage, it rocked, used a java irc client which connected to dalnet (running from dalnet thus eliminating local java security issues), let me see if I can find it and set it up again.
: a while back someone mentioned a form of irc (or someother type) that once setup, you don't have to run a chat server, and the moderators stay the same (so no pick up and go hijinx like normal irc). I think it was talked about in an earlier chat.
