MAME IN ARCADEOS: No Sound

Okay,
My soundblaster works, but I can not get sound in the ARCADEOS front end.
I am running pure DOS and when I run straight MAME, it asks for my soundcard (option 1, SB) but when I run ARCADEOS it just runs mame. I checked the documentation and did not find where I should set any config files etc. to set up MAME to use the SB. Any ideas? Thanks
