I am planning on devoting a HD to Mame to be run in pure DOS 6.22. I would disable other HD's to boot off of this one when I want some serious mame. Is there a FAQ somewhere on how to set up soundcards and joysticks in dos? And other settings in Autoexec.bat and config.sys that would benefit mame? And what about the DPMI thing, what is that anyway? I know my way around DOS, but the details escape me. I have a PII 350, AWE 64, sidewinder joysticks, and an ATI all-in-wonder 128 16 meg for my 2D video card (and a monster 2, not that that matters) Any help would be nice.
